Use a Text Display to place dynamic text in a window.
Open the destination window to add the Control.
From the Toolbox, select the Control icon, move the pointer into the window and drag out the initial position and size for the control.
If the Property Editor is not displayed, click on Ribbon > Home > Property Editor
Click on the Control. The Properties for the control will appear in the Property Editor panel and allow changes to be made.
Name: Name of the control
Alias: Alias of the control
General:
Read Only: Default ticked but untick if the user is able to enter other values.
Permissions: The available permissions are displayed. By default all are off but each can be individually enabled. The default available permissions are;
Can Exit Application
Can Acknowledge Alarms
Can Modify User Profiles
Can Disable/Enable Alarms

Template: the template that may be used by this button. See Templates.
Mapping: Allows the user to create a mapping between Text and a Value.
Layout: Defines the layout parameters for the control
X: X location in the window to place the control
Y: Y location in the window to place the control
Width: Width of the control
Height: Height of the control
Anchor: Which edge of the window the control is anchored to when the window is resized. See Anchors.
Visual: The Visual category allows the user to configure the look and feel of the control.
Visible: Defaults to visible but untick if you wish this Control to be invisible
Background:
Start Color: Select the background start color from the list of available colors defined in the project.
End Color: Select the background end color from the list of available colors defined in the project.
Gradient Mode: Select from one of the displayed Gradient modes
Image: Select from a list of Project images in the Project. See Images
Image Layout: Select from None, Tile or Stretch
Border:
Corner Radius: To produce rounded corners enter a Radius value. Defaults to 2.
Thickness: Enter the Border thickness. Defaults to 1.
Color: Select the color of the text from the list of available colors defined in the project
Dash Style: If the border needs to be dashed select from one of the available dash styles
Shadow:
Color: If the Panel needs a drop shadow, select the color of the text from the list of available colors defined in the project
Distance: distance for the drop shadow. Note that the shadow is produced behind the Panel, below and to the right by the specified distance
Font:
Family: Select the Font family for the Number text. Defaults to Arial.
Size: Size for the Number text in points. Defaults to 10.
Style: Select from Regular, Bold, Italic, Underline or Strikeout
Alignment: Select from Left, Right or Center. Defaults to Left.
Color: Select the color of the number from the list of available colors defined in the project
Binding: The following properties of the Text Display Control may be bound to a tag;
